2020 IBAT unCONVENTIONal - PAC Activities

The 2020 IBAT unCONVENTIONal kicks off on September 14 with the silent auction, benefitting the IBAT Political Action Committee. The auction will run for just over two weeks, culminating on Thursday, October 1 with an evening of celebration that will include hospitality suites – Zoom style, an abbreviated “live” auction, drawing of the Dream Vacation (or Staycation) winner and a songwriters' not-so-late show.

Registration for the auction events and Songwriters' Showcase is free for all IBAT members. However, we do ask that you register here.

IBAT's 32nd Annual LIVE & SILENT Auction Fundraiser

Help raise funds for the IBAT Political Action Committee (PAC) by donating to the PAC Auction, held once a year during the IBAT Annual Convention. The IBAT PAC is exclusively dedicated to promoting the community banking industry. PAC funds enable IBAT to support candidates who understand the important role that community banks play across Texas. The IBAT PAC is an essential tool in the association’s government relations efforts and the PAC Auction is its major fundraising event. State law restricts the resale of alcohol, and sadly, we are unable to accept donations of alcoholic beverages for the Auction.

If you or your company provide investment or securities products or services and you or your company are registered with FINRA, the SEC or the Texas State Securities Board as an investment advisor according to SEC Rule 206(4)-5, and FINRA Rule 2030 (the “Pay-to-Play Rules”), you may only contribute personal funds to the IBAT FedPAC and other restrictions may apply

There are two ways to participate:
  1. Donate An Item
Choose something unique. Be creative! Don’t have time to shop? If you would like to make a monetary donation instead of donating an item for the Auction, your contribution will be recognized during the event and will be added to PAC Auction totals. The PAC Auction is one of the most popular events during the IBAT Annual Convention. Fill out the online Auction Pledge Form or download a PDF here
  2. Purchase An Item
Enjoy the live and silent auctions and make a purchase from the many gift items your colleagues have chosen to entice you.
  • When and Where can I purchase items?
Item purchases can only be made at the Annual Convention.
