The Bank Operations Institute (BOI) is a two-year banking program that provides practical bank management and leadership strategies necessary for successful community bank operations. It leads the training field in preparing community bankers for banking in the 21st century. The community banking focused curriculum is overseen by the industry's top bank management practitioners, consultants, regulators, insurers, senior bank officers, directors, commercial lenders, loan specialists and educators. This course offers strategic insight into banking technology, best practices, administrative processes and project management with an emphasis on practical, real-world banking issues.

The Bank Lending Institute™ (BLI) is a two-year banking program that provides practical bank management and leadership strategies necessary for successful community bank lending. The community banking focused curriculum is overseen by bankers, industry consultants, regulators and other experts in the financial services field. It offers strategic insight into both the present and future of banking technology, best practices, administrative processes and project management. BLI puts an emphasis on real-life skills and approaches required for effective and profitable bank lending management.

SW Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB)

 

 

The SW Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB) is the financial services industry's best source for education, training and information – designed specifically for bank officers. Taking place each summer on the campus of Southern Methodist University, the two-week leadership development program designed to propel careers in the financial services industry. The SW Graduate School of Banking at SMU prepares future leaders in the banking community for greater responsibilities with peer networking, team-building experiences, case studies, a tailored curriculum, and an exceptional student-faculty ratio. The atmosphere during your three resident sessions will be one that fosters friendships and professional alliances. The Community Bankers School (CBS), formerly The Midwest School for Community Bankers, provides broad exposure to important elements of community banking. It gives students the most up-to-date thinking on core principles of community banking: compliance, operations, consumer credit, documentation, asset/liability management, marketing, management principles, and much, much more. Plus, it gives attendees a vast range of specific banking skills and techniques that can contribute immediately to their banks' overall success. The purpose of this school is to impart knowledge participants can use every day in community banking. The Community Bankers School (CBS) is available to community bankers nationwide, making it The School for community bankers in the country. Texas Tech School of Banking

 


Leaders in the financial services industry encounter an ever-changing environment that requires a comprehensive skill set. The Texas Tech School of Banking is designed to provide future leaders in the financial services industry with the skills, tools and perspective necessary to advance their careers and help their banks prosper. The program is designed to enable participants to understand the big picture of the rapidly changing financial services industry. Those who complete the program will have up-to-date knowledge of all major areas of banking, a fresh network of colleagues, and will be equipped to anticipate and respond to changes in this dynamic industry.

Sam Houston State University E.M.B.A. in Banking and Financial Institutions

The Executive Master of Business Administration (E.M.B.A.) in Banking and Financial Institutions program at Sam Houston State University is designed to develop and enhance a candidate’s skills that are necessary for a position of leadership in a financial institution or regulatory agency. The program emphasizes the integration and synthesis of various disciplines to develop a student’s ability to function and make sound administrative decisions in a dynamic financial institution environment. The E.M.B.A. program is suited for qualified students from any academic discipline who have experience in the financial institutions field.
