2023 IBAT EDGE

April 4-6, 2023 | Waco

A new event designed to meet the educational needs of community bankers in Texas and beyond. 

Hosted by the Education Foundation of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas, this two-and-a-half-day event is designed to help you Educate, Develop, Guide and Empower your team to take the next steps in their careers, for the good of your bank and its customers. 

The first two days will be bookended by general sessions featuring thought provoking and inspiring keynote speakers. During days 1 and 2, attendees will be able to pick from 48 breakout sessions, divided into six tracks: Information Security, Operations, Credit/Lending, Emerging Technology, Strategy, and Compliance.

Each breakout session will provide the opportunity to dive deep into hot topic issues related to each track. On the final morning, attendees will come back together for a half-day workshop focused on management and leadership growth. No matter what your role is in the bank, you will benefit from greater knowledge of how you can build a team and affect positive outcomes in your organization. Learn more.

Hotel Information:
Housing for EDGE will be somewhat unconventional for an IBAT conference. We want you to stay at a property and price point that make you comfortable! We will have small blocks at Hilton Waco, Courtyard by Marriott Waco, and Aloft Waco Baylor. For a list of nearby hotels, click here.

Cancellation Policy 
Any cancellations made within five business days of the program start date are subject to a $375 processing fee. Cancellations made on or after the start date are non-refundable. You may substitute another person in your place at any time prior to the program date by informing the registrar.  Course materials will be sent to registrants who are unable to attend the program.
   Tax Information 
The IRS requires a notice on all registration forms to inform the attendee of the registration fee amount representing food and beverage that is deductible as an ordinary business expense. We estimate the food cost portion of your basic registration fee is $325. Under current tax law 50% of this amount is deductible as an ordinary business expense. Please contact your accountant or tax advisor for further details.
