Introducing the IBAT Mentorship Program

Empowering Minds. Shaping the Future.

About the Program

Developed by popular demand, IBAT is pleased to announce its latest initiative – The IBAT Mentorship Program – which cultivates a unique experience, allowing mentors and mentees from community banks to learn and grow within their roles. Collaborating with the professional firm Art of Mentoring, we’ve provided a unique opportunity to help up-and-coming leaders learn from longer tenured and more seasoned members of the IBAT family.

How Does it Work?
Each year, IBAT will choose up to 20 mentor/mentee pairings who will be connected and guided through the program step-by-step.

How Long is the Program?
A ten-month commitment will be required of all mentors and mentees. The program will run from June to March.

Why Should I Participate in a Mentorship Program?

Unique Skill Development: Provides an experience for an up-and-coming professional to receive guidance from a seasoned banker, in a one-on-one environment.

Sharing Legacy Knowledge: The mentor receives an opportunity to share his or her own experience while aiding in the advancement of the mentee’s career.

Never Been Easier: Through this established mentorship program, we will find your match and provide you with the resources to connect you with fellow bankers – leaving a lasting impact on your community bank career.

What Will I Gain From a Mentorship Program?

Operational Knowledge: Learn from a banker who has “walked the walk” and gain insights on his or her approach when it comes to bank management.

Career Development: Discover your potential and get started on a path toward setting career goals and advancing your career growth.

Leave Your Mark: This hands-on learning environment will cultivate an idea-sharing relationship that will create a lasting impression for future leaders in community banking.
