2017 Texas Financial Literacy Summit

2017 Texas Financial Literacy Summit

Does your bank’s CRA plan include financial education outreach?

The IBAT Education Foundation and Texas Bankers Foundation invite you to attend the 2017 Texas Financial Literacy Summit. Celebrating its 11th year, this collaborative program brings you the most timely and relevant material surrounding the field of financial education.

Banking is so much more than numbers, profits and regulations. At the heart of strong independent banking lies the passion for helping individuals, families, businesses and communities. If you’ve been looking for ways to strengthen your local ties and make a deeper impact, then consider attending the Texas Financial Literacy Summit. The speakers and sessions will leave you inspired and equipped to further empower individuals of all demographics to make sound financial choices.

This year’s summit features keynote speaker Adam Carroll, internationally recognized financial literacy expert, author of Winning the Money Game, a two-time TED talk speaker, founder of MoneySavvy.com, and creator of the documentary, Broke, Busted & Disgusted. Participants will also learn from peers with successful programs in place, hear from state and national regulators who set the boundaries for our industry, and build relationships with passionate educators looking to partner with Texas bankers in these efforts.

Review the complete brochure and agenda to learn how you will be better prepared to connect and contribute to the ongoing economic success of our great state.

Once you have registered, you'll receive an email with the link to book your hotel room or you may click here.

This summit qualifies for 12 CEUs.
